Acceptable Use Policy

Ctrbuddy creates YouTube thumbnails and similar channel artwork: title cards, scenes, products, text and graphics for your videos. It is a creative tool for creators. It is not a face-swap, deepfake or adult content tool.

Ctrbuddy is an independent product built on third-party AI models and is not affiliated with Google, OpenAI or Anthropic.

You may not use Ctrbuddy to create, edit or request:

• NSFW content of any kind: nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic images, and sexually suggestive images, including suggestive poses, lingerie or fetish content, of anyone;
• any content that sexualizes or endangers minors;
• face swaps or deepfakes: putting one person’s face on another body, altering a real person’s face or identity, or making a real person appear to say or do something they did not;
• images of real people other than yourself or a consenting co-host, including celebrities, politicians and other public figures;
• content that impersonates a person, brand or organization, or falsely suggests their endorsement;
• graphic violence or gore, hate speech, harassment or content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity;
• misleading content meant to deceive viewers, such as fake news, scams, fake giveaways or election misinformation;
• content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or privacy or publicity rights.

A persona is a reference of your own creator likeness, so you can appear in your own thumbnails without a photo shoot for every video.

• Create a persona only from photos of yourself, or of a co-host who appears on your channel and has given you explicit permission. You must confirm this before a persona is created.
• Personas may only be used to show that same person in thumbnails for their own content. Do not use them to place someone in sexual, humiliating, defamatory or misleading scenes.
• Do not upload photos of anyone else, including public figures, to create a persona.

• Every prompt is screened by our payment provider’s content moderation service before it reaches an image model. A request that fails screening is refused, and no credits are charged for it.
• Our AI model providers apply their own safety filters as well.
• We may remove content, suspend or close accounts that break this policy, and report illegal content to the authorities.

If you believe Ctrbuddy was used to create content that breaks this policy or the law, including an image of you made without your permission or content that infringes your copyright, email support@ctrbuddy.com. Every shared project has a Report link that starts this email for you. Please include:

• the link to the shared project or content;
• why you believe it is illegal or breaks this policy;
• for copyright or likeness claims, the work or person concerned and whether you are the owner or act for them;
• your name and email address, and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.

We review every report within 3 business days and tell you what we decided. If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the affected user why, and they can contest the decision by replying to that email.
